Joe's Mom emailed me today, asking when I was coming down and that she wanted me to go shopping with her. I guess I'll head out Sunday morning so I don't have to deal with rush hour traffic Monday morning, when I had originally planned on leaving.

I wish I didn't mind driving on unlighted highways... if that wasn't an issue for me, I'd leave out around 5 am so I'd get there around 9 - 10 am and have the whole day ahead of me.

I finally finished the afghan. I'm going to go over it later to weave in all the loose ends so it looks more finished than it does now.

I've been up since roughly 9 pm last night and I'm kind of swaying but I really want to try to get to Walmart. I need to get an oil filter and oil for the oil changes tomorrow and to get a couple of those water things for the cats (they hold about a quart of water so I don't have to have half a dozen bowls of water sitting around for them).

Ron and local Bon were supposed to come over today to do oil changes but she messaged me this morning, saying that it would be tomorrow. They don't want me to go until Ron changes the oil in my car but I told her on no uncertain terms that I'm leaving Sunday morning, oil change or not. At this point, I'm tempted to take it to someplace like Jiffy Lube or Lube Stop. For $45, they do a lot of stuff. But, I'll see.
