We got back Wednesday night, just about at sunset, which was perfect timing.
Actually, I got back here first as Joe had stopped to eat earlier. Ironically, I had to stop to pee at a rest stop and Joe went on ahead. Then, I stopped to get gas at the BP station in Delaware County, just north of the Loop. Joe was there, getting gas too but he didn't see me and I couldn't get his attention before he pulled out. I had thought that he was going to get home before me but I hadn't known that he was going to stop and eat.

I have to say that I feel 100000% better now that I'm here. All the depression and anxiety are pretty much gone. We mostly just hung out here today. We got the router set up so I'm on my laptop at the moment. I was going to set up the expansion base downstairs but I forgot how the wires went so I'm going have to look that up on line O_o

For the moment, I'm fine just using the laptop as is. I've done it before with my old laptop when I was using that as my primary computer. No biggie. I have it sitting on the cushion that I had setting on my chair, sitting on the coffee table so it's not hard for me to type.

We had planned on taking Amanda to the vet's office to get her stitches out but it started snowing and Joe didn't really feel like going out so... we stayed in and just hung out.

I'll probably start putting in applications Monday so I have a few days to relax and get my stuff semi organized. Tonight, because it's so cold, the outdoor cats are in the basement, in my room. Joe and I made extra sleeping places for them but really, cats sleep anywhere they want :b
