I blocked my first spammer here!!! *happy dance* If there's anything that I hate more when it comes to on line stuff is spammers. When I used to keep a more... adult blog on line, I got spammed all the time and I made it a point to make it an all out war against them. I still carry on that war to this very day, even though I don't keep that blog up anymore.

The last few days, I really haven't felt like blogging or really talking to anyone outside of my best friend. Hopefully, if he feels up to it, he'll be up here in a few days. He wasn't feeling well the past few days and was supposed to come up tomorrow. I told him that if he didn't feel up to the drive up, that he should stay home until he feels up to it. No sense in him coming up when he's feeling under the weather.

I'm learning to love my bamboo double pointed needles. I have to use them to make the sleeves for my sweater (tried it on the other day and it fits great!!). The only ones that I have in the size that I need at the bamboo ones. At first, I was gritting my teeth because I wasn't used to them and progress was slow (I'm talking molasses uphill in February....) but it's getting easier, if not a bit tedious.

I took a break from the sweater tonight (although I had hoped to have it done and wearing it by now...) just because I was tired of having to flip the whole thing round and round all the time. Now, I'm working on a hat LOL Sadly, I'm even tired of working on that O_o

Honestly though, I never in a million years believed that I would be making my very own knitted sweater. It always seemed too complicated for me to even try. But, one chick that posts on the craft forum that I frequent made up a simple, top down raglan (made from the neck down, all in one piece... no seaming or making separate pieces....) so, I allowed myself to believe that I could do this. And now, I'm just a sleeve and a half from a complete, hand made sweater that I crafted all on my own. That's a good feeling right there.
