So a few nights ago my alarm went off at midnight. I was just about to fall asleep and heard the bell ringing. At first I didn't know where it was coming from, so that got me going. Once I figured out it was my clock I jumped out of bed and frantically tried to figure out which plug belonged to the clock: white plug or black plug. Finally I gave up and just pulled them both out and the beeping stopped. The thing is - the longer you don't turn it off, the louder it gets. Lovely. I was shaking after that, and really paranoid. I can't see sh*t all without my contacts and I don't sleep with them in so I couldn't find the off switch on the clock itself. Wasn't expecting that!
And as for why it went off - I was dusting off my desk earlier that day and accidentally hit the alarm switch.
In class today another thing startled me. Someone walked by my desk and I noticed something gray move by their feet. It was small, like a piece of lint. So I figured that's what it was. I was so sure. Then I saw it move again and thought I was seeing things, thinking "clearly that is a piece of lint!" but no. It was a small spider. So then I had to be on the lookout for the next 30 minutes to make sure it wasn't anywhere near me. In the end, I think someone stepped on it. Lol. Fun times.
Oh yeah - and holy freaking hell what is with this weather? It's CANADA. This is OCTOBER. Why is it so warm? Honestly I think it might be hot enough outside to call it summer temperatures. I don't want this =(
I mean, it's nice, but I like fall and having 4 seasons. We haven't had much snow the past few years, not even for Christmas. It just doesn't feel right unless there's snow that time of year. Come back!! Looks like global warming reached us.
